Sitting on a seaside lawn with a castle in the background listening to some of the best music ever made, almost sounds too good to be true! Well it is true and what's more it's FREE!

The Quincentennial's Supper at the Castle takes place this Saturday, March 1st on the lawn at Pedro Castle and will feature the best Cayman has to offer in entertainment. "This is a real showcase of local talent in an atmosphere that could not be better," stated Mrs. Angela Martins, Executive Director for the Quincentennial Celebrations. The evening begins at 4pm and will provide uninterrupted entertainment until 10pm.

"I know this sounds like a cliché, but there will be something for everyone," said programme director of the event Sue Horrocks, "the variety of music and entertainment will be incredible, we will have everything from Bach & Beethoven to music from Harry Potter and current composer John Rutter," Sue enthusiastically explains.

The evening will include performances by the Cayman National Orchestra and Choir, Dance Unlimited, the National Concert Band and many others. There will also be a visiting dance troupe from Miami, Broadway Class Act courtesy of sponsorship from Walkers Attorneys At Law as part of the Children and the Arts programme.

The highlight of the evening will be the grand finale when the 1812 Overture will be played to a spectacular fireworks display. "It will be a wonderful evening with red and white table cloths, lanterns as centrepieces, fireworks and a stage with the ocean as a background. I truly hope that all of Cayman will come out and enjoy this first of its kind event," sums up Mrs. Martins.

Guests will be able to purchase their dinner from a variety if restaurants including Hard Rock Café, the Kaibo Restaurant and Lone Star. The host for the evening is the music man himself, Mr. Dave Martins.

All in all Supper at the Castle should not be missed!
